I guess I don't have much to say! I honestly think I forgot that I have a blog on the website!
After breaking my wrist in January of this year, I had to put things aside until that healed. It is almost there! I'm looking forward to another year teaching my students to love music. I have openings for new students so give me a call! I love students of ALL ages! I am looking forward to reconnecting with the students that I have not seen over the summer. I can't wait to hear all of your adventures! I hope we can start the fall off with some fun music and get back in to establishing a good practice routine. I'm hoping to set aside time for my own practice this year as well! I am about 95% back to playing after my broken wrist. I just need to keep practicing! So, it's not just my students but myself that needs to establish good practice habits! So, back to our normal schedule! I look forward to seeing everyone and hopefully some new faces too!

I never thought I would have a blog, but why not? I'll give it a try! See how often I will post! I hope to use it as a way to share information to my studio and prospective students. I hope to share things I learn while interacting with my students. There's always something new even after teaching for over 30 years!
I'm gearing up for the new school year. As always, it's exciting as I try to plan for my students for the entire school year. Scheduling is always a bit tricky but things usually work out okay once everyone is back in school and routines have been established. I've been busy rearranging the studio, as I do every summer! As always, I'm trying to organize and plan repertoire, theory and other materials for each existing student and hoping to get the opportunity to start some new students. I'm always fortunate to have a great group of families and students. If you are looking for a piano teacher, give me a call or email! I'd love to add you to my piano family! |
